Description

FIDES is looking for a ServiceNow Solutions Architect.

The ServiceNow Architect is responsible for collaborating with the client while adhering to industry standards for configuration, development, support and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. You will work with stakeholders to understand, propose, and deliver solutions using ServiceNow best practices. The Architect will be responsible for designing the enterprise roadmap and working with the development team to implement effective solutions within the ServiceNow platform. Additionally, the role is responsible for including, but not limited to:

  • Understanding business objectives and be able to identify implications to IT as it relates to application architecture and infrastructure.
  • Developing reference architecture and working with stakeholders to garner buy-in of roadmap/timeline.
  • Identify bottlenecks and develop optimizations & customizations based on needs.
  • Work with other IT team members to drive the best adoptions and use of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Coordinate with client stakeholders and technical implementation team.
  • Support implemented and proposed solutions on the ServiceNow platform.

Requirements

  • Certified (CSA) ServiceNow System Administrator
  • 2-5 years of ServiceNow experience is a must
  • Experience with ITSM, ITAM, CMDB, and Discovery within ServiceNow
  • Understanding of the SaaS (software as a service) business & technology model
  • Understanding and experience in configuration management principles
  • Interest in learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks
  • Excellent communications skills required - verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management, as well as written with technical assessments and project related reports
  • Demonstrated self-direction and attention to detail with ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines
  • Strong organization and process improvement skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Communication skills to communicate at all levels of the organization
