Description

FIDES  is seeking a Workday ERP Security Administrator who will be responsible for configuring, maintaining, and advising on security within the Workday application. This includes managing domain security policies, roles, and role assignments. The analyst will coordinate with vendors, ensure compliance with divisional and data security policies, and participate in report reviews to maintain security and data privacy standards. This is a long term contract position.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and advise on security within the Workday application, including domain security policies, roles, and role assignments.
  • Coordinate with vendors to understand new technology scope and its association with new functionality and security.
  • Develop and maintain awareness of divisional and data security, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Participate in report reviews, ensuring security and data privacy standards are met.
  • Stay updated on new security features within the application’s future roadmap and implement them where possible.
  • Perform audits on system roles and access logs to ensure accuracy.
  • Demonstrate proof of security controls during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of Workday security features and controls.
  • Understand and apply knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations.
  • Accurately collect information to understand and assess clients’ needs and situations.
  • Utilize working knowledge of HR/Finance information systems, data models, organization structures, and roles.
  • Communicate effectively with functional and IT clients using strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintain strong attention to detail and enforce adherence to security policies and practices.
  • Demonstrate strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in security.
  • Workday experience or training preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience with HR/Finance application security.
  • Preferred HR/Finance functional experience.
  • Solid understanding of Workday security features and controls.
  • Knowledge of SOX and data privacy regulations.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with functional and IT clients.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable enforcing adherence to security policies and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
