FIDES is currently seeking a certified and experienced Epic Consultant with a strong background in managing third-party interface implementations. This role is critical to the success of our ongoing healthcare technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will lead complex integration efforts across multiple systems and stakeholders while driving alignment from planning through post-go-live support.

This position requires onsite presence 2-4 times a week in the DMV area. This is a long-term engagement.

Key Qualifications:

• Epic certification in one or more technical modules (e.g., Bridges, Interconnect, or related areas) is required
• Proven experience leading Epic interface and infrastructure projects, including third-party system integrations
• Strong understanding of HL7, FHIR, and other healthcare interoperability standards
• Demonstrated experience in Phase 0 planning, solution design coordination, and technical readiness assessments
• Ability to bridge communication between technical teams, vendors, and clinical/operational stakeholders
• Familiarity with end-user technology needs and coordination of device build/deployment as part of project scope
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is strongly preferred

Responsibilities:

• Manage the planning, execution, and delivery of Epic technical projects, including interfaces, device-related implementations, and system infrastructure upgrades
• Participate in Phase 0 technical planning efforts, including requirements definition, architecture coordination, and integration strategies
• Serve as a liaison between Epic analysts, technical teams (e.g., integration, networking, security), and external vendors
• Oversee device planning for end users, ensuring alignment with application requirements and clinical workflows
• Ensure alignment with organizational objectives and compliance with industry standards for security, privacy, and interoperability
