Description
FiDES is looking for a ServiceNow Administrator/Architect for a full-time position. Only US citizens and Permanent residents apply.
The ServiceNow System Administrator is responsible for collaborating with the client while adhering to industry standards for configuration, development, support, and maintenance of the ServiceNow platform. You will work with stakeholders to understand, propose, and deliver solutions using ServiceNow best practices. The Admin may be responsible for UI, Workflow, and Application development activities, facilitating rollouts of new applications, enhancements, and new modules, and customizations. Additionally, the role is responsible for including, but not limited to:
- Day-to-day administration of the organization's new ServiceNow platform
- Identify bottlenecks and develop optimizations & customizations based on needs.
- Work with other IT team members to drive the best adoption and use of the ServiceNow platform.
- Perform daily maintenance and issue resolution
- Coordinate daily ServiceNow ticket requests
- Support implemented and proposed solutions on the ServiceNow platform
Requirements
- Certified (CSA) ServiceNow System Administrator is a must
- 2-5 years of ServiceNow experience is a must
- Working knowledge of User Interface (UI) policies, data policies, UI actions, business rules and client scripts
- Experience in functional operations (Adding users, groups and modifying roles, etc.)
- Ability to create workflow activities and approvals
- Experience in configuring alerts and notifications
- Ability to review upgrade history and status
- Control system access and data security
- Run reports, configure service level agreements (SLAs), and perform instance branding and customization
- Understanding of the SaaS (software as a service) business & technology model
- Understanding and experience in configuration management principles
- Interest in learning and taking on increasingly complex tasks
- Excellent communications skills required - verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management, as well as written with technical assessments and project related reports
- Demonstrated self-direction and attention to detail with ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment with short deadlines
- Strong organization and process improvement skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Communication skills to communicate at all levels of the organization
